  • CANCELLATION POLICY:

Please note that there is a 24 hour cancellation window on your order.
LundiaUSA products are all made-to-order at our factory. Orders can only be cancelled if written notice is received within 24 hours of your order. Orders entered during the week, will usually start production on the next business day. Orders entered over the weekend or a holiday will usually start production on the next business day. If you have any doubts or concerns, please call us to assist you in reviewing your order before it is placed. Cancellation cannot and will not be accepted after the 24 hour window as manufacturing of your specific order will have begun.

  • MANUFACTURING LEAD TIME:

Your Lundia system will be handcrafted in our factory after your order is placed. For your safety and our employee’s safety we have COVID-19 policies and procedures in place. This can and will have an effect on lead times. Please note the following:  We will need approximately 8 to 10 weeks to manufacture your solid wood closet. We will then need an additional 5 to 10 business days to carefully package and prep your order for shipping. Therefore, you should allow a total of 10 to 12 weeks for your closet to be ready to ship (This lead time is an approximation and may vary). This does not include shipping transit times from our facility in Southern California. Your final invoice with tracking information will be emailed once your order is shipped.

  • RETURNS:

All of our products are made to order. Nothing is stocked as we have thousands of size and finish combinations. Due to this and the custom nature of our products, we do not offer returns. 

  • WARRANTIES:

    • Our Lundia Solid Wood Shelves, Uprights, Drawers and Components all come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
    • Warranties are valid on all Lundia orders with The Recom Group, Inc. after January 1, 2008. Proof of Purchase is required.
    • New Lundia uprights, shelves and/or any product purchased from The Recom Group (TRG) are not guaranteed to fit any existing Lundia unless your existing Lundia was originally purchased from TRG. Used Lundia, Lundia from Europe, Lundia on Ebay may or may not fit our current Lundia sizes. TRG and Lundia make no claim that our product will fit Lundia purchased or held from another source other than The Recom Group. Customer takes full responsibility for this. No returns are allowed for new Lundia product not fitting old or existing Lundia Product. We recommend buying a single part or item first to confirm any fit before buying additional components or parts.
    • The Recom Group (TRG) warrants to our original customer that our products are free from structural defects in material and workmanship.
    • Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, TRG will, at its discretion, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials.
    • Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by TRG on an exchange basis, and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. If TRG is unable to repair or replace the product, it will refund the purchase value of the product.
    • Customer is responsible for freight/shipping costs to and from TRG.
    • Warranty only covers parts that are rendered unusable due to manufacturer’s defect.
    • Cosmetic or aesthetic imperfections are not covered as wood is a natural product that can and will change over time.
    • Warranty does not cover wood splinters, slight cracks, chips, dents or scratches that have no impact on the structural usability of the product. Because this is real wood, natural coloration variances are common and expected with different shelves and uprights.
    • Knots are inherent and characteristic of this type of product. All knots will be sanded smooth. You should expect that you will have knots in your shelves and on your drawer fronts, which is typical of solid wood.
    • Any warping or bending of wood is not covered under this warranty as unfinished wood used in high moisture environments may deflect or warp. We recommend adding a finish to prevent this if your home is in an area with high temperature variations.
    • This limited warranty does not cover any damage to this product that results from improper installation, accident, misuse, natural disaster or modifications of any kind. Any modification, including cutting, drilling or screwing into the wood will void the Warranty.

  • SHIPPING & DELIVERY

    IMPORTANT: We ship via UPS and by Truck. On Truck shipments, trucking companies “Drop Ship” meaning they will drop it at the front of your address. It’s best that you be there to receive it. We can assist in trying to coordinate the delivery, but unfortunately we have no control over the trucking companies.

    • Trucking companies will NOT deliver to your garage, porch or inside your home.
    • If you MUST have a special delivery, please call us and we can share what other options you may have to receive your shipment. Additional freight and/or handling charges may apply.

  • FINISHES

    Lundia is made of real solid pine and hemlock from the Pacific Northwest. Because this is an all natural product, every shelf and component part we manufacture can and will vary how it looks. Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces will be alike. The grain and knots in the wood will be different on every component part. That is the beauty of solid wood. Any stain or finish will have variations in the sheen and color when applied to wood. Natural wood finishes will also age and colors may change slightly over time. When you order Lundia Products you are accepting these qualities and characteristics in wood.

  • IMPORTANT:  If you are trying to match a painted or stained finish in your home, it is unlikely that our finishes will match exactly. We highly recommend purchasing our wood samples (Fully refundable) to compare. Our painted white finish is not a bright white. It is a softer white finish. Our painted black will still show the grain through the paint. Clear finish will have varying characteristics and tone subject to the natural wood (especially on doors). It is part of the beauty of real natural wood.
