LOCATION Tuscaloosa Police Pistol Range Located at the Lake Tuscaloosa Dam. Take Rice Mine Road from U.S. 82 (McFarland Blvd.) to the Publix Shopping Center. Follow the signs.
OPEN TO To all NRA Members. To be Resident Champion, competitor must be a legal resident of Alabama and a member of the National Rifle Association.
ENTRY
INFORMATION
A. ENTRY FEE An individual entry fee of $60 will be charged to cover all matches in the 2700 aggregate. A team entry of $40 will cover all team matches including the Service Pistol Match if fired. Entry fee for the Excellence in Competition Match will be $10.
B. REGISTRATION To enter the match, fill out, sign, and mail an SR-1 entry card to:

the mail) If no SR-1 is available you
may give your name, category, (Civilian, Police, or Service) and your current
classification in writing to enter the match.
Refreshments will be served during the match, courtesy

NOTE: No one will be squadded until entry fee is received. A $10 late fee bill will be charged on all entries not received by
June 6, 2004.
Registration will close at 7:00 A.M. the day of the match. Pre-registration is encouraged so you will be assured of having a firing point on the morning of the match. Entry is limited to 80 competitors and a total of 15 teams.
Squadding will be completed by
match time on the day of the match. NOTE: Match Director will have final authority on
squadding and starting times.
RULES A. This is an NRA Registered Tournament and all Bullseye Match Rules will apply.
B. The NRA classification system will be used for this tournament. Scores will be reported to the NRA and match records may be established.
C. Awards will be trophies and merchandise. Team awards will be custom plaques.
D. State residents who compete will be competing for Resident Champion and classification awards.
WEAPONS &
AMMUNITION A. Weapons as specified by NRA Rules for Individuals & Teams. Competitors must furnish their own weapons.
B. Ammunition will be furnished by the competitor.
SCORING A. All scoring will be after each 10 shot string. Each competitor will repair his own target.
B. Shot challenges will be referred to the Official Referee for final scoring, a fee of $2.00 will be required for each challenge and if the challenge is upheld the fee will be returned to the competitor.
FIRING PROCEDURES A. Each relay will complete a 900 aggregate before leaving the firing line. Firing times will be designated and it is the responsibility of the competitor to be on time. The Tuscaloosa Firing Range will follow Camp Perry Style, as Competitors will move forward to the 25 Yard benches after competing 50 Yard fire.
B. Team matches will commence 15 minutes after Individual Matches are completed. All team members must be on the Official Team Score Card prior to the start of team competition.
C. Practice will be available on the day prior to the state championship starting at 3 P.M. Practice must be coordinated with the Match Director or Mr. Dan Avant on Practice Day at the range.

NOTICE
No competitor will be squadded until entry fee is received. Send entries early to receive squadding preference. Due to expenses incurred in the match and meal preparation, there will be a $10 fee for any cancellation. A late entry will be accepted up to the limit of the range for a $10 extra fee.

The Alabama Police Pistol Association is 33 years old and has been sponsoring Police shooting events for officers during those years.
